The Pre-Kindergarten program is an advanced Preschool, which will provide a safe and nurturing environment. Children are given various opportunities to develop their creative side, interact with peers, build fine and gross motor skills, foster their self-esteem and work on readiness skills for kindergarten.
The curriculum is carefully planned, taking into consideration that each child has unique needs, interests, and capabilities. The daily schedule includes free play time, circle time, project time and outdoor play. At circle time, children go over the calendar, weather, sing songs, read stories, and share any special news. Lots of indirect learning happens here. Our projects include many art activities, science projects, and even music, movement, and cooking.
Our program is directed by Department of Early Education and Care qualified staff who are dedicated to the well being and safety of the children. All staff meet or exceed the requirements of Department of Early Education & Care. The staff is composed of college graduates with a wealth of experience working with children. The staff regularly attends workshops and seminars. Each and every staff member is sensitive to the needs of the individual child.
