Welcome to Fidelity House  Arlington, Massachusetts SUMMER FUN 2008 JUNE FULL DAY PROGRAMS/AUGUST ADVENTURE DAYS- Fidelity House offers summer fun & new experiences before camp starts and during the dog days of August too! After our Summer Day Camp concludes, we offer August Adventure Days from August 14 until the first day of school. Trips, special events, sports, arts & crafts, and games are part of the Summer Adventures from 8 – 4:30 p.m. with extended care available until 6:30 p.m. Weekly registrations are accepted. Please call for more information or to have the registration form mailed - For kindergarten through thirteen year olds. June 13 thru the Start of Day Camp and then the End of Day Camp thru September 3.  Print up AUGUST ADVENTURE DAY REGISTRATION HERE FIDELITY HOUSE'S 53rd DAY CAMP – Grades 1 - 5. Swimming lessons taught by Red Cross Certified Instructors! Sports, archery, recreational swims, arts & crafts, gymnastics, games, talent shows, field trips and more!  Activities will take place at Minuteman Technical High School in Lexington. Three sessions. Single week registrations are also accepted. Camp runs Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with an option for extended care until 6:30 p.m.  Print up 1st - 5th grade DAY CAMP REGISTRATION FORM HERE CAMP FIHO- Grades 6th – 8th.  Sports focus areas, fitness and conditioning with youth sized nautilus equipment, archery, activity workshops, swim practice & recreational swims, creative arts, bike/hike treks, talent shows, weekly field trips and more!  Activities will take place at Minuteman Technical High School in Lexington, Fidelity House and utilizing the Boston area for local field trips.  Swimming is featured daily and directed by Red Cross Certified Instructors.  5 one week sessions. Camp runs Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with an option for early arrival/extended care until 5:30 p.m. Print up 6th - 8th grade DAY CAMP REGISTRATION FORM HERE KINDERGARTEN Summer Days  - 9 one week sessions of our popular Kindergarten Camp beginning June 23- August 22 . Arts & crafts, games, sports, swimming instruction with American Red Cross certified instructors, special field trips and many special events are planned.  Many of the activities will take place at Fidelity House's Child Care building (FIHO 2), Fidelity House and Minuteman Technical High School in Lexington. The Program meets from 8:00 -3:30 with an option for extended care until 5:30. Children entering Kindergarten or those who have just completed Kindergarten are welcome.  Print up KINDERGARTEN SUMMER DAYS REGISTRATION FORM HERE PRE SCHOOL SUMMER PROGRAM - 10 one week sessions beginning June 16 thru August 22. The program will run Monday - Friday from 8:30 - 12:30. Age appropriate activities-music, arts and crafts, nature activities, storytime and much more. Children 2 years 9 months thru 5 years old are welcome.  Print up PRESCHOOL SUMMER PROGRAM REGISTRATION FORM HERE.  FIDELITY HOUSE CIT PROGRAM- - Fidelity House offers a Day Camp Counselor -in-training program (CIT') for youth entering 9th grade. C.I.T's will gain experience working with youth while enjoying the benefits of the Day Camp . Those accepted will receive training prior to the start of camp, be assigned to work with a group, in the pool and/or with a special interest activity. During the week, they will meet periodically as a group for additional training. Please drop by Fidelity House for or application or contact Lisa. "Tomorrow's Stars" Basketball Camp- Fidelity House, in conjunction with `Tomorrow's Stars Basketball Clinics" and Arlington Catholic H.S. will be offering a Basketball Clinic for boys and girls 7 years of age thru 15 years of age. The clinic will meet Monday thru. Friday from 9 am-3:30 pm.. Discounts for second sibling and group discounts are available. Brochures are available at Fidelity House .    June 23 – 27.  BASKETBALL CAMPS - These 1 week camps are geared towards youth that love the game of basketball and want to become better players. The Monday through Friday camp will challenge players of all levels. Guest speakers, hands on drills, instructional clinics and full court games will all be incorporated to improve all aspects of the game of basketball. For the younger ages, lower hoops are used to teach proper shooting technique and encourage a sense of  accomplishment.  *6th-  10TH Grade BOYS                   *4TH - 6TH Grade BOYS/GIRLS SPORT CAMP- This camp is designed for youth in 3rd – 5th grade & 6th grade and up that love to stay active and enjoy variety.   The camp day starts at 9:30 - 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Campers will play both individual and team sports to develop their athletic skills and sportsmanship. GIRLS SUMMER INTRAMURAL 6th — 9th grade HOOP LEAGUE Sponsored by the Arlington Police -Games played 1 night a week- Tuesdays. Starts June 24. Sign up at Fidelity House. Games played on outdoor courts behind Arlington H.S. BOYS SUMMER 8910 HOOP LEAGUE- for those entering 8th, 9th, 10th grades. Intramural games played 1 evening a week. Games follow H.S. game rules and teams are decided by draft. Begins the week of June 23. GYMNASTICS- Summer session for preschool and up.  Learn gymnastics in a fun relaxed atmosphere with plenty of individual attention. 6 week session begins Saturday, June 21. ADULT PROGRAMS  *Men's BASKETBALL League with games weekly Tues or Thurs. eves.            *Women's BASKETBALL League with games weekly Monday eves.   ALSO *Gym rentals    *Birthday Party Rentals   Fidelity House is a non-profit community center, which has been serving the needs of Arlington and surrounding communities for the past 50 years!
